Being outside when it is snowing is not much of a problem. Being outside when it is 40 F, windy and raining is. Body heat causes condensation on the inside of your clothes. The cold water runs everywhere. Pray for cold, windy and wet. I will not be attending.
Cold windy and wet does a real number on most coats, especially down. Wool, polar fleece and synthetic insulations (like Primaloft, Climashield) are about the only things that retain some of their insulating qualities. Note the word SOME. Wool retains 80% of it’s insulating capabilities, I do not know the rating for synthetics.
On top of that rain beating on the head and blowing in the face just makes you miserable. You lose most of your heat through your head too.

This wet snow is not health for my fruit tree’s,i am ready for global warming back.
Why don’t the idiot brains march in South Dakota, where Drudge is headlining that we just had the earliest snowfall ever (or since 1888) yesterday, and it was 8 inches to boot. Or, as Iceagenow reports, they could march in Alberta where the early September snowstorm just flattened crops right before the planned harvest, and left Calgary with major power outages.

2015 promises to be very interesting… for the skeptics’ community.
What I find good about the “People’s Climate March” is that it tells everyone in no uncertain terms what the “climate change” movement is really all about – and it has nothing to do with the climate!
BTW – please keep track of all of the “real” climate scientists who show up at this event. It will be very telling to see the individuals (and organizations) for whom climate science is just a means to an end.
