Drought To Flood Is Normal Weather In Texas

Like Katherine Hayhoe, White House science advisor Al Sharpton believes that Texas flooding is due to man’s sins (carbon or otherwise.)

But transitions from drought to flood are normal for Texas, as occurred in 1918, 1952, 1957, and many other times.

The devastated area of Texas is known as Flash Flood Alley for a reason.

Once all the fraud data is got, compiled and the whistleblowers come out, I believe the FIFA scenario will occur with the AGW team

Ya gotta love that old testament fire and brimstone vengeful god …. ranks right up there with the nitwit god that hands out virgins to the batshit crazies for killing folks.

  4. Llanero says:

“Drought To Flood Is Normal Weather In Texas”

Not to be confused with DroughFlood, which is completely unprecedented.

  5. White House science advisor Al Sharpton

    1. How good I learned to swallow and set down my coffee before opening new posts.

    2. How bad the President of the United States holds views indistinguishable from those of this race-hustling scientific moron.

  6. menicholas says:

I have noticed most droughts, especially the really bad ones, end in floods.
    Why?
Two reasons I can think of…long term averages and reversion to the mean, but more to the point…it takes a flood to end a bad drought.
Normal rainfall will take forever make up for long term deficits.

    Climate… control?

What the actual hell, Al? I’ve always thought you were a flaming idiot. You’re doing nothing to improve that standing.

  8. Andy DC says:

Yes, it a revolutionary, Nobel Prize winning scientific breakthrough that sometimes it is wet and other times it is dry. But now it is fossil fuel powered wet and dry, created by evil, heteronormative, gun toting, Bible thumping, science denying, wife beating Republican males that hate minorities and hate the planet..

  9. I’m still trying to dig myself out from under the New Ice Age these fools and charlatans tried to foist off on us in the 70’s. .

  10. Mac says:

I guess there’s no one in the Democrat party who ever heard Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan’s 1983 debut album entitled “Texas Flood”. Great album, and indicative of the obvious longtime weather problems faced by Texans. The title song’s opening lines:

“Well, it’s floodin’ down in Texas,
All of the telephone lines are down…”

Stevie was lying about the Texas floods — since they’re obviously a brand new phenomenon — but he named his second album “Couldn’t Stand The Weather”, anyway.

  11. R. de Haan says:

Our lands have been flooded with retards, opportunists, parasites, crooks, thieves and power hungry demagogues.
    That’s the real problem.

I’m sure Katherine Hayhoe will be pleased to know Lubbock has received 1.96″ of rain in 1 hour and its still raining!!!

I’m laughing! Also glad that my Houston family has a house on high ground, not too near a reservoir, and all the street drains in their neighborhood are working well. Good engineering!

  14. Elaine Supkis says:

Way back in 1979, Al Sharpton and his gang tried to get me beaten to death because I was talking to a black church about forming street patrols in Brooklyn, NY.

He is one of the more disgusting humans running lose, worse than pit bull dogs.

  15. Dave N says:

Gotta love morons who pose a question with two choices for an answer, when neither is correct.
