Venus has an optically thick atmosphere which reflects most of the sunlight near the top. Very little sunlight actually makes it to the surface of the planet. But the little bit of sunlight which does make it to the surface gets super-charged by CO2, goes crazy, and starts melting lead.
Carl Sagan figured this out after smoking weed.
Happens all the time……

It’s not CO2, it’s the pressure of the atmosphere that melts the lead (or boils it in sulphuric acid).

lol, I think you’re missing the point of the post, hotrod. No one said anything about Humans raising the levels of CO2(note, the post talks about Venus….. the planet)……… do try to keep up. If you’d like a more detail explanation, just ask.

Woopsie! New peer reviewed science says otherwise…

Skeptical(not)science says Salby is ‘confused’ about the carbon cycle. Well, if he is, then so are the peers who reviewed his paper for publication. Cook will claim anything on his website to keep zealots happy. I’ll stick to the peer reviewed science.
