Climate experts explain that two Hiroshima bombs worth of heat are moving into the ocean every second, causing it to cool.
Cooling Pacific has dampened global warming, research shows
By Fiona HarveyCooling waters in the tropical Pacific Ocean appear to be a major factor in dampening global warming in recent years, scientists said on Wednesday.
Their work is a big step forward in helping to solve the greatest puzzle of current climate change research — why global average surface temperatures, while still on an upward trend, have risen more slowly in the past 10 to 15 years than previously.

So often alarmists howl at sceptic ‘shills in the pay of Big Oil’. Yet Fiona Harvey is as big an environmental shill as you’ll ever find. Seldom allows comments either. Motwyw.
Is that Shrek’s Fiona? She was kinda cute until the sun went down.
Those morons are driving me nuts. “Heat” never pours into the ocean, only radiation “pours” into the ocean. Surface tension blocks transfer of heat into the ocean. When the sun goes quiet, like now, the earth cools like now because there is no heat backup. Fire a heat gun at a bucket of water and good luck.
No, surface tension does not block heat transfer. Quit making us skeptics who had science education look bad.
Get yourself a heatgun and a bucket of water and try heating the water. You can put heat into water by radiation but physical heat is blocked. I don’t know what blocks it but my guess is surface tension.
Only two Hiroshima size bombs every second? Not three or possibly four? I’d like to see the formula they used for that nonsense.
This guy is a climate changer denier because there are no great puzzles in settled science.
