Egyptian Newspaper Thanks Obama For Supporting Terrorism In Their Country

Obama sees supporting terror as being a moral imperative for the US. He started his political career at terrorist Bill Ayer’s house, and his term for terrorists is “freedom fighters.

Popular and widely read Egyptian newspaper Al Wafd published the above picture today portraying U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama as Satan himself. The unflattering picture has been making the rounds on Facebook in the Middle East and, according to Al Wafd, is representative of the hatred growing numbers of people in the region have for the American president, thanks to his staunch and unwavering support for Islamists and jihadiis โ€” whether in Nigeria, Libya, Egypt, or Syria โ€” even as they terrorize, murder, rape, and burn down Christian churches, that is, even as they engage in diabolical activities.

During Bush’s term the research polls showed a steady decline in middle eastern support of terrorism, as well as a slight increase in the favorable view of the US, or put more accurately, a moderation of the extremism. During Obama’s term the dislike for the US and west has reversed and began to increase.

Seeing that this disdain for Obama is due to “his staunch and unwavering support for Islamists and jihadiis โ€” whether in Nigeria, Libya, Egypt, or Syria” (I may add Iraq as well) is perhaps the most hopeful news I have heard. It would be an odd paradox if the people are so indoctranated into their hate for the US, that they decided to hate Islamic extremism because a US presidend apparently supports it. But I actually think that they are finally becoming fed up with violent Islam. Bush was apparently far more sucessful in his overthrow of Saddam, in establishing a goverment in Iraq that was not nearly as Islamist, and actually had a chance of suceeding . Obama apparently did not like this as he immediately began to weaken our support there.

Bush may have been supporting the petro dollar in going after Saddam, who was prone to building WMD and attacking neighbors and murdering his own people a hundrfed times worse then Assad, (If in fact Assad did this one sarin gas attack) as well as Saddam supporting the MB and international terrorism, not to mention attempting to assinate a US president. and having plans to unite all the ME under him via plans found indicating he wished to overtake the northern Saudi oil fields. (Saddam was a real threat to the world) But Bush was also trying to show the middel East that there was an alternate view, and power behind that view. He hopped they would understand that Islamic extremism was not their only choice. Apparently , from the appearance of articles like this, he may have succeeded after all. (BTW, after reading several hundred pages in favor of the Iraq war, I was not, deeming it to costly and unpredictitable, as well as thinking our resources should have been focused on getting one nation in the middle east reformed, that nation being Afganistan.) However I do not think Bush and Obama are the same at all.

  2. So Egyptians–or that newspaper, and by implication it’s readers–believe in “666” (which is a biblical term, for the supremely evil “Anti-Christ”, in the book of Revelations, not Koranic), and by extension, in the whole story in Revelations. It is a fearful, inherently hysterical belief, shared by many religious fundamentalists, who believe in dark magic more than a divine plan.

I do not know that this article shows that, but if so, I think most perspectives of disparate versions of Christianity, do not demand a religious therocracy and preach such violense, as is inherent in the view of Islamist. The artice appears to be a genuine disdain of terrorist supporting Obama, and this is a very good thing and necessary if the world is to avoid WWIII.

Its hardly suprising. Obama’s well known antipathy to the British stems from the fact that his grandfather fought against the British and Kenyan Colonial Authorities in the Mau-Mau Rebellion/Kenyan Emergency of the 1950’s. It may well be that he sees ALL those who oppose a certain type of established government as freedom fighters rather than terrorists.
