“a return to dialogue”

“Sanctions will not help to achieve peace and foster dialogue, Argentinian Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero told Telam news agency on Saturday, adding that his nation will not place restrictions on Russia over the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

“What Argentina seeks and proposes is a return to dialogue,” the foreign minister said in Rome, where he met with his Italian counterpart, Luigi Di Maio.”

Maldives Still There

In 1989, experts said the Maldives would drown by the year 2018, unless global governance was implemented.

“MALE, Maldives: A gradual rise in average sea level is threatening to completely cover this Indian Ocean nation of 1196 small islands with-in the next 30 years, ac-cording to authorities. The Environmental Affairs Director, Mr Hussein Shihab, said an estimated rise of 20 to 30 centimetres in the next 20 to 40 years could be “catastrophic” for most of the islands, which were no more than a metre above sea level. The United Nations Environment Project was planning a study of the problem. But the end of the Maldives and its 200,000 people could come sooner if drinking water supplies dry up by 1992, as predicted.”

26 Sep 1988 – Threat to islands

“GOVERNMENTS must yield national sovereignty to multilateral authorities able to enforce laws “across environmentally invisible frontiers” if the green-house effect, which threatens the future of whole nations, is to be overcome, the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Sir Shridath Ramphal, said on Tuesday.

A Commonwealth Expert Group set up to look at climate change estimated there was a 90 per cent certainty that the planet would become warmer by at least 1-2 degrees, perhaps much more, and that sea levels would rise by between one and four metres, by the year 2030?

“New research says hundreds of islands in the Pacific are growing in land size, even as climate change-related sea level rises threaten the region. Key points: Coral reef sediment was responsible for the increase in land size Waves sweep up the sediment and deposit it on islands However some islands are becoming smaller due to coastal erosion Scientists at the University of Auckland found atolls in the Pacific nations of Marshall Islands and Kiribati, as well as the Maldives archipelago in the Indian Ocean, have grown up to 8 per cent in size over the past six decades despite sea level rise.”

Ice Doesn’t Lie, But Climate Scientists Do

During the warm 1920s through the 1950s, almost all European glaciers were retreating. During the cold 1970s most glaciers were advancing.

According to NASA, glaciers retreat when temperatures are cold, and they advance when temperatures are warm.

Unlike the NASA graph, the 1974 NCAR graph was consistent with the behavior of ice.

Polis The Libertarian

The Colorado governor has come out in defense of Disney sexualizing small children and Twitter censoring adults, under the guise being a libertarian defending business rights.

Two years ago I fled Colorado after Polis announced he was going to force everyone to stay home and cover their faces. Over the next fourteen months Colorado was a nightmare to even visit because of all of Polis’ restrictions.

Polis the libertarian has also been forcing business to stop using a reliable supply of energy and is shutting down all reliable energy sources in the state over the next few years.

On Valentines Day 2021, the Colorado grid nearly collapsed and was kept functional by imports from neighboring states which were more responsible. This coal fired power plant was the only electrical source in Northern Colorado which was producing electricity, and Polis plans to shut it down in the next few years.

“In recent years, PRPA has shifted more of its energy load to renewable sources, and it plans to reach 100% non-carbon generation by 2030

the intense cold at PRPA’s wind farms in Wyoming forced operators to shut them down. When ice builds on the windmill blades, it creates an imbalance that can damage the turbines, Roalstad said. As it turned out, the wind wasn’t blowing there anyway, so wind farm shutdowns had little impact. Solar resources were also of little to no help because the solar panels were covered with snow. The cold and limited sunshine kept the snow from melting.

Roalstad said that left the utility with two alternatives, and it used both. It bought power from neighboring utilities that might have had some to spare, and it asked consumers to reduce use.

The solution to situations such as this past weekend and what could occur in future years as PRPA and other utilities shut down coal-fired plants will be tapping into larger networks.”

The White House plan all along was to make energy prices skyrocket. And now that they have succeeded they want to blame their own malfeasance on everyone else.
