In November 1976, National Geographic had a fairly objective discussion of climate.

They showed how temperatures regularly take large swings, independent of human activities.

They showed that most of the recession of glaciers in the Alps occurred before 1940.

They discussed the next ice age and stated that climate change has always been occurring, and always will continue to occur.

They discussed the rapid cooling since 1940.

There has been a large expansion of thick ice into the Chukchi, Beaufort and East Siberian Seas since 2008.

Experts describe this expansion of Arctic ice and normal levels of ice as being a melting death spiral, which is wreaking havoc on weather patterns.  They say the Arctic is gone, and ask what “we” can do to stop it.

The world’s leading climate expert predicted the Arctic would be ice-free last year.

And a Nobel laureate predicted the ice would be gone five years ago. His science fiction movie has been shown to nearly every public school child in the world.

A simple solution for the press, scientists, educators and politicians would be to simply stop lying about the climate.

Los Alamos, New Mexico has received five feet of snow in the past week, and eight feet of snow this winter, and is listed as having an “extreme drought” by the US drought monitor.

I took these pictures before the last two feet of snow fell.

There is no data logged for December yet, but even without the December data precipitation in Los Alamos was just about normal for June-December.  After the December data is logged, precipitation will be well above average.
