I constantly see leftists on twitter claiming that skeptics get their “marching orders” from big oil or Fox News or some other entity. These sort of accusations always seem very bizarre, given that the vast majority of skeptics have no organization or funding.

But the thought process behind their accusations make sense if you look at how leftists operate.  They sign up for communications lists, and are quite literally being told what actions to take every day.  I signed up for one from “Daily Action” – which texts me every day telling me which conservatives I am supposed to hate, and how I am supposed to hate them.

Thus they assume that everyone else operates the way they do. Leftists don’t understand that unlike themselves, there are honest, intelligent independent thinkers out there.
