Dissonance At The Met Office

Interesting that the Met has 2 versions of the Dec 2nd “Near record temperatures in 2010” release.
One at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/news/releases/archive/2010/record-temperatures
with headline “Near record temperatures in 2010”
One at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/corporate/pressoffice/2010/pr20101202b.htm
with headline “Near record temperatures in 2010 to be followed by cooler 2011”
Ah, it now seems that the “followed by cooler 2011” page is no longer available?
Have a copy though, but what the hell.
I notice they are saying 0.52c for Jan through Oct, but their data set still shows 0.49c?
G S:
Flexible numbering plans make that possible. It is kind of like the flexible interest plans they came out with that were tied to the FED rate. These figures are tied to the desired outcome results. What ever needs to be found to be consistent with projections “Will” be found.
We can not have these people looking like they do not know what they are doing, can we? YES!
