I am not going to watch a cartoon about a fairy tale situation that is designed to steal even more money from middle class people globally to put money in the pocket of dictators and charlatans.
I love whoever makes these videos. The know how to drive a nail in the coffin. 🙂
Steven:
I broke down and watched! You have the most logical answer.
Whoever put that together missed out on the fact that most of the world leaders are not at Cancun this year. The main leaders there are those looking for hand outs.
In a parallel universe, it might be interesting to see what would have happened if investigative reporters had asked tough questions back in 1996 about why a small group of enviro-activists was making so much effort to portray skeptic scientists as corrupt, despite a lack of evidence supporting that claim: “The ’96-to-present smear of skeptic scientists – or at least what I’ve dredged up” http://climategatecountryclub.com/profiles/blogs/the-96topresent-smear-of
don’t forget the tens of billions more invested by large banks and corporations
they are the ones paying for the climate centers, professorships, think tanks, and NGOs.
and politicians 😉
There are 2 sides to every issue and this one is no exception. On the one hand, as Steve points out, they do not have an incentive to accomplish anything. The money is not dependent upon any accomplishments. But on the other hand, as long as they waste their time, then they are not going to be killing us with their good intentions.
So in effect, we are paying protection money – except the names of the “protectors” are not “Harry the Hammer” and “Sal the Snake”.
Extract from the BBC report below: “There is also a stand-off between Mexico and South Africa – hosts of next year’s meeting – as to who should run the UN climate process through next year, with neither apparently keen on the idea.”
I wonder why …?
