Do they not realize that without people no profits, no corporations, no growth, etc. Companies need people as much if not more than people need companies. No business wants their customers to die. (with one exception)
Maybe ten years ago a climate scientist postulated that a large release of methane hydrate from the Voring Plateau led to the end of the last ice age. There is a large bowl shape in the plateau, but whether methane came from there is speclulation.
