“the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free at the end of summer by 2012, much faster than previous predictions.”
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Where is “Ill Wind Blowing” with his “official prediction” of an ice free Artic by 2017? I guess he won’t be jet-skiing to the pole any time soon.
Who is rowing to the north pole this year…don’t tell me the annual north pole row is called off just when we went ice free.
Perfectooooo!
Hey, they only said “could be nearly ice-free”. So I suppose I could say that they could be viewed as nearly close to truth.

Hey, they only said “could be nearly ice-free”.
It supposed to of already happened last year, the year before, this year, It’s still suppose to happen next year, the year after, etc.
What’s the bet if it doesn’t happen by 2040, 2060, 2080, 0r 2100. They’ll just shift the goalpost to a year in the next century 2100-2200 and so on until maybe one year it does happen and then. “See. we told you so. It’s AGW/CC.” 🙂
