I recently read, that my great great great grandfather, Daniel Valentine, moved from New York to Illinois in 1854 because of this drought. It must have been a little better in Illinois at the time.
Anyway, i wonder what people at the time would do if they had known that this was all caused by CO2 in the air. I wonder how they would have responded to “deniers” of this concept

These extremes in history, however, are the proof, that our present extremes are not caused by increasing CO2 in the air.
