Colorado As A Microcosm Of The Planet

Colorado is divided into two demographics. Most of the state (geographically speaking) is sane Republican territory. By contrast  the Democratic areas (Denver, Boulder, etc.) are occupied by the highest density of whack jobs in the US.

  • Aurora shooting
  • Columbine shooting
  • Jon Benet
  • Ward Churchill
  • University Of Colorado football
  • Balloon Boy
  • Highest rate of marijuana abuse in the country

Colorado is considered a toss-up in the election, but if only sane regions were allowed to vote, the election wouldn’t even be close.

You may find this insight from a Colorado psychiatrist interesting…

“He said that Colorado — especially Colorado Springs and Denver — has an epidemic of mentally ill patients. Most of the beds in Colorado’s psychiatric hospitals were full. He said that most of the mental patients that were crowding Colorado’s hospitals were actually visitors from other states. They travel through Colorado for whatever reason and feel a deep, spiritual connection with the mountains. The landscape is so serene and calming that sometimes it actually makes the ‘voices’ quieter. So they just stay. People get off their bus or their train, or miss their connecting flight and just stay.”

Sane republicans and insane people from a different political viewpoint eh?

Sort of reminds me of Germany in the 1930’s how the US is going, or Russia the other way.

    Sad really.

Perhaps you can start making some special camps or gulags for these whacko’s?

Extreme politics never works, Europe learnt the hard way, seems you can’t learn from other people mistakes.

You can’t say it is dull there. Maybe the altitude makes people crazy, as Al Gore has referenced.
