The Nashville Tennessean endorsed Romney which was another shock. If you read any of these endorsements, the papers seem to feel a need to kinda of apologize up front for their endorsement by giving accolades to Obama.

Obama’s approval has dropped 7 points in the last 3 days. The desperation is showing by some of the insane ads they are running. They are making it worse for themselves, thankfully.

If he loses it, it’s media’s own fault for not seeing it coming. He surrounded himself with people who told him how great he was, and the media reported nothing except how great he is, and reported news about how Republicans are “fringe” and a joke, Romney has about 30 supporters total in the USA, etc

I can honestly say I did not expect this. I take back a couple of things I have previously said about Iowa, but still wouldn’t want to live there.

So fall they all, as goes the temperature.

I don’t think any lead that Romney gets in the polls will be relevant at the poll booths. It is voter turnout that will outweigh even a ten point lead. Democratic voters will simply turn out in much larger numbers than Republican voters and so Mr Obama will get re-elected, even though Romney may end up as having the larger part of the populaces hearts.

I suspect that voter apathy is greater amongst the Republicans (whites), than amongst the Democrats (blacks and hispanics). OK, big generalisations there, but nonetheless these aspects may be a sufficiently significant factor to produce an upset,ie. Obama getting re-elected despite a large point lead by Romney on voting day.

I live in the UK, but think that a re-elected Obama would not be good for the World economy.

I sincerely hope I am wrong and that Romney and especially his running mate get elected to the White House.

  7. Did Romney go to Iowa and promise them farm subsidy money or something?
