I just got this message from the White House
When the Earth’s atmosphere fundamentally changes, we see more heat waves, droughts, wildfires, and floods.
Besides the fact that none of those things have actually occurred, they believe that any change makes the weather worse. That is the definition of a reactionary.
There is no scientific basis behind that statement. It is a purely religious belief that man is punished for sin. Change is just as likely to make things better.

I had to listen to the whole song, again.
I had the pleasure of seeing Harris recreate that roll live, 32 years ago, a magnificent performance. This song always come to mind when I hear people speak of stable climates.
The Earth’s atmosphere is in a constant state of flux, so there are always fundamental changes in the Earth’s atmosphere since the beginning of Earth having an atmosphere.
I am still getting Hazardous Weather warnings for normal seasonal weather patterns, from NOAA.

How stupid have we become when the president of the U.S. stands up and actually talks about “saving the planet”. In more sane times this would have been cause for being banished to a rubber room. The ludicrous has become normal and now we have people fighting against their own well-being, cheering for increases in their costs of living and oppressing the poor in the name of saving them.
Obama can’t even get China to give up Snowden, but he thinks he can convince them to alter their economy in the name of fantasy?
I’m sure that it was only a coincidence that this speech happened in late June and not January!
