I smiled when I saw the “title” because of course, being my age [60+] I knew who you were referring to w/o reading the article! My oldest brother worked for, and had very little good to say about LBJ. Called him a mean SOB! Also LBJ was as racist as they come, BUT the consumate LIB. DEMONcrap politician who used the welfare state to create 200 years of DEMONcrap voters!
After FDR, LBJ is the one who gave us our biggest push toward where we are today!
It is still fascinating that [for all his faults!] JFK today would have been considered pretty conservative!
