There are 862 US HCN stations which have been continuously active since at least 1930. The vast majority recorded their hottest day ever prior to 1960, and 88% were set with CO2 below 350 PPM.

Note that this is a very important statistic, because climate hoaxsters can not use Time Of Observation Bias as an excuse to try to explain it away.
I’d have bet that there were daily high temperature records at Ft. Bragg, NC, during the summer of 1969. They must not have had one of those fancy stations in Eastern NC during that period. 🙂
That’s an interesting statistic. CO2 was below 350ppm for about 88% of the historical record. So what are we trying to prove?
It is difficult to know where to start with a comment that stupid.
Steven, It would be interesting to also debunk the “higher average lows”. The hoaxers continue to claim that warming happens at night, and in winter, and in high latitudes. What a shell game…
Can you do the same graph, but for the “coldest day” set or tied since 1930?
That would be one heck of a double whammy.
Nighttime temperatures have risen, due to UHI effects.
That CO2 has nothing to do with high average temperatures, that’s what the data suggests … and also that AGW is a great pseudo-scientific hoax.
