Must be that new hot kind of snow which falls during winters that never came.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Lots of Snow there in NZ
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11116171
Interesting…my friend from Canada and his wife went down to zealand for a visit…asked him how it was….his reply “cold and wet”….
Al Gore should pay a visit to Peru, where the state of emergency has been declared in large areas of the country. Snow is up to 5 feet high, temperatures have dropped to minus 20 degrees Celsius. 250.000 alpaca’s (small llama’s) livestock have frozen to death, roads are blocked, thousands of people are sick of the intense cold. Look at this video, stupid Gore:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTLV0XtAWps This is what is happening in the real world, it is cooling and it is cooling rapidly.
Not just Peru. Much of South America has been very cold this winter with record snow in Brazil, and also Bolivia and Chile. Here in eastern Australia it has been wonderfully warm.
Perhaps there is more to the southern hemisphere than just Oz and NZ. Perhaps, when you look at the whole story not just the little bit that sexes up your press releases, global warming is just weather.
Why would Gore mention anything about South America, it would spoil his agenda.
After the first week in July the weather has been great. Lambs born in warm dry conditions. If this be GW then yes please!
Today forecast for sleet!!
It’s pretty pitiful when Algore is stuck with having to Cherry pick New Zealand’s purportedlymild winter for alarmist tropes.
Will we see any warmist trolls chide Algore with the old “that’s not climate, it’s only weather” line?
Right now … we are having a hail shower – in Dunedin (South Island of New Zealand). So the normal winter weather does still make its presence felt on occasions.
Some of the locals are suggesting that we might pay for our relatively mild winter by having a not-so-good summer.
Of course, we know that it is the overall global trends that are important. The overall trend for at least 10 years has been no *warming*.
(Here’s an old cliche: .. “One swallow doesn’t make a summer.”)
Yep, in the shadow of Mt Hutt this August it has been unseasonably warm, 20C days instead of 10C. But we have still had good frosts and good snowfall on Mt Hutt and at present it is raining and 9C. Luckily all our ewes have lambed and the lambs are well grown. Unfortunately for the future winters here “weather is not climate” and next year no doubt we will be back to -6C frosts and dead lambs. Never mind, watching the “Red Devils” win another Premiership will help keep me warm 🙂

Someone should tell Al Gore about the recent snow in Brazil.

Tell gore to get his fat arse over here today and tell me it’s warm.Bloody cold here.
