Six weeks ago Walt Meier made this bold pronouncement :
This year “will without a doubt” rank in the top five lowest levels of ice extent ever recorded in the satellite era, and there is a good possibility that 2013 could rank second in terms of recorded ice lows, said Walt Meier, a scientist at the National Snow & Ice Data Center.

And NSIDC has now acknowledged that their 100% probability forecasts are worthless.
On September 13, Arctic sea ice reached its likely minimum extent for 2013
The minimum ice extent was the sixth lowest in the satellite record

He said “This year “will without a doubt” rank in the top five lowest levels of ice extent ever recorded.” Was he stating that arctic and antartic would be averaged in his tally?
Like an old scratched record they just keep repeating the same stupid lies.

Haven’t heard that song in quite awhile. NIce!
Ice is up, the sun is down.
So today I was checking out spacewether.com and I notice that the solar wind is a freakishly slow 282.0 km/sec. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen it that slow. And I see the graphic of the sun has reduced sunspots (54), and again it looks like the remaining spots are about to be rotated out of existence. And then I see spaceweather’s own commentary is: WEAK MAX: The weakest Solar Max in 100 years continues today with another 24 hours of quiet. …
The geomagnetic index ap was very low too.
The bottom line is that, “it is all about keeping the government funding flow going!” It is all about our politicians who we elect. Affect their thinking and things will change.
You can bet your bottom Dollar that serious “doubts” are creeping into climate scientists’ minds.
