Armed with 12-gauge shotgun, Aaron Alexis sprayed bullets inside Building 197, killing 12 and injuring eight others.
Fox should team up with Joe Biden and have a show titled – “gun talk by people who know nothing about guns“

showered them with pellets from a distance probably. That’s why he took the AR15 from the security guard he probably killed at short range.
What AR-15? That was the media rushing to use a favorite gun control meme. “We have no information that he had an AR-15 assault rifle in his possession,” [FBI Assistant Director Valerie] Parlave said. “He may have gained access to a handgun … after he began shooting.”

It should have taken them about one second to determine if the wounds were from a shotgun or a rifle. Unbelievable stupidity.
I’m sure that the gunman carried a legal weapon. Proof that gun control works.

“Where there are gaps, we will close them. Where there are inadequacies, we will address them. Where there are failures, we will correct them. We owe the victims, their families and all our people nothing less,” he [Hagel] said.

Blah, blah, blah. What he didn’t say is that soldiers will be armed.
They will determine that it is all Bush’s fault.
But THEY didn’t fix it after Ft. Hood.
If there’s a problem, it must be Bush’s fault. That is settled science…
I’m still trying to find out what happened. I found some more here:

Take a look at the “Lawmaker reaction” section.
Then consider this: when I worked in manufacturing, our QC people made it quite clear that you can’t inspect quality into a product. Making crap and throwing out that which looks bad doesn’t give you a quality product.
Note the lawmakers’ ideas: they think they can inspect security into the personnel. Just a few tweaks of security and access procedures and everything will be wonderful. They are ignorant of the field, yet think they have all the solutions.
Yes, that is a camera on an eagle (!).
