Learning To Think Like A Government Climate Scientist

  1. Last year’s record Arctic sea ice minimum was due to global warming
  2. This year’s record Antarctic sea ice maximum is due to global warming
  3. This year’s large increase in Arctic sea ice extent was predicted all along
  4. When glaciers retreat, it is due to global warming
  5. When glaciers advance and calve into the sea, it is due to global warming

No matter what happens, the same group of charlatans will advance an ad hoc theory to protect their funding and reputations. Science no longer has anything to do with this scam.

Right, AGW supports an Agenda, nothing more, nothing less.

  2. Robertv says:

Germans are losing their fear of climate change. While in 2006 a sizeable majority of 62 percent expressed a fear of global warning, that number has now become a minority of just 39 percent.

Germany’s Federal Ministry of Research would prefer to leave any discussion of the global warming hiatus entirely out of the new IPCC report summary. “In climate research, changes don’t count until they’ve been observed on a timescale of 30 years,” claims one delegate participating in the negotiations on behalf of German Research Minister Johanna Wanka of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The Ministry for the Environment’s identical stance: “Climate fluctuations that don’t last very long are not scientifically relevant.”

At most, German delegates at the conference would be willing to include an admission that “the pace of temperature change has slowed”

Despite resistance from many researchers, the German ministries insist that it is important not to detract from the effectiveness of climate change warnings by discussing the past 15 years’ lack of global warming. Doing so, they say, would result in a loss of the support necessary for pursuing rigorous climate policies. “Climate policy needs the element of fear,” Ott openly admits. “Otherwise, no politician would take on this topic.”

  3. I think we have shown–with the fraudulent adjustments starting around 1990–that it hasn’t had anything to do with science for nearly 25 years (see my recent comment on this site). I have made the same point for the last 3 years, since my Venus/Earth temperatures comparison showed there was no “global warming greenhouse effect”, and that any student of climate or atmospheric science should have done what I did–and the greenhouse effect officially removed from science–back when the Venus data was first obtained, a generation ago (October 5, 1991). That Venus/Earth comparison is still ignored, and even incompetently dismissed, by “experts” on all sides of the debate.

And I thought we had really smart free thinking women here in Australia rather than zombies who follow the latest Jim Jones clone. (Face-palm)

Steven I object to your title here.
What ever gave you the idea that government climate scientists think?

  6. Andy Oz says:

Reducing GHG’s reduces premature deaths now???
With global population increasing at over 70 million a year, this concept seems superfluous. Another example of global weirding!

Now that Australia has abandoned the carbon tax and dismantled the Climate commission ( sheltered workshop for failed climate students who couldn’t get a job elsewhere), the Alarmists bring out the sacred cow who is Suzuki to try and turn the tide and lower the rising sea levels of Australian skepticism. Cancel his visa.
