Snowiest January Through September On Record In Boulder

Climate experts say that Boulder was in a drought prior to last week’s rain.

The first 8-1/2 months of the year have been the snowiest on record in Boulder, with almost nine feet of snow already this year.

This has also been the wettest YTD in Boulder, just surpassing the previous  flood year in 1995. I was living in Boulder in May, 1995 when we were one thunderstorm shy of a huge flood. The forecast storm missed Boulder by a few miles that afternoon.

    Increasing rain/snowfall in mountains near Boulder? Next thing you know the local glaciers will start growing.
