“I’ll give you one of the simplest principles of foreign policy that we ought to be following,” Cruz said. “Don’t give weapons to people who hate you. Don’t give weapons to people who want to kill you.”
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

We have to pick and choose among various scumbags that are all out to slit our throats.
I’m thinking, that since the Pres. shot his mouth off, and we have to do something, we should take a balanced approach and flatten both sides.
I like this whole “balanced” concept, but with a twist. Assad is a monster (especially now that he isn’t buying Kerry’s dinner). So are his attackers. But in the midst between them are folks who just want to be left alone to live their lives. Palin says we should “Let Allah sort it out”. If there are no “good guys” in the fight, she may have made the wisest decision of all.
Putin determined to provide Syrian Missile Shield if Obama attacks without UN Security Council Support. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/sep/04/obama-putin-syria-g20-summit
This is as close to WW III as it gets.
Maybe our “leaders” should settle this Mano a Mano. Let’s put Putin in a cage with Obungo (no rules), and see who wins. 🙂
Putin is bluffing. Of course we have ZERO business being involved in Syria. A wise power is very careful of using its power, picking only national interests, and then carefully.
“Putin is bluffing.”
You may be right, but the most decisive element of this equation is that China does not want the U.S. in a sustained campaign to overthrow the government in Damascus … and China holds the purse strings right now. That fact — combined with China’s Leninist philosophy, is all we really need to know to understand what will happen in Syria.

This is not about America vs. Syria (or even Iran)–it is about Hussein Obama vs. America. He wants to make it more amenable to Islamic ideology. Otherwise, his record would not be one of unending lies to the American people, and particularly, lies deliberately avoiding Islamic terrorism. The enemy is within.
It gets even worse, with “Lurch” Kerry now announcing that the Saudis have offered to bankroll the whole invasion/decapitation of Assad if the USA will just go do the dirty work
So now, we’re not only leading from behind but we’re being pimped by Obummer to settle old Islamic scores.
Obama owes his career development and his college education (if you can call it that) to the House of Saud, and that’s why he bowed before the King.
This is all a disgusting sell-out of our country. Impeach the GD traitor, and let’s take out Rev. Wright and Bill Ayres at the same time
Check your local grocery store stock after the shit hits the fan.
This has zero to do with Missile attacks, but everything to do with bringing the hated capitalist system to its knees!
You’d think they’d learn, after the hassles of trying to get Blowpipe missiles back from Afghanistan, after the Russians had left.
