The Mid Manhattan Hot Spot

Since 1998, GISS has been diverging from RSS satellite temperatures at a rate of 1.1ºC per century. Global warming theory predicts the opposite, but this result is exactly what government scientist funding theory would expect.

    government scientist funding theory

I’m glad it has a name now. You know, Steven, you already had me believing this theory even before it had a name.

Everybody else is just green, have you seen the chart?
It’s a helluva start, it could be made into a monster
If we all pull together as a team.

And did we tell you the name of the game, boy?
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.

  3. What is even more significant, Steve, is that from 1979-2001 they correlated almost exactly.

It is only since that they diverge.

Steve, what is the proposed mechanism for GISS and RSS to deviate, per the warmists and per the truth? I’m not familiar with this.

    • GISS makes up fake data north of 80N, Theory tells them that the Arctic is warming much faster than the mid latitudes, so they make up imaginary temperatures to match the theory. Then they use that fake theoretical data as evidence for their theory.
