We have had an amazingly pleasant September so far in Fort Collins. Riding my bike to the store last night, I kept thinking I was seeing palm trees (flashback to my first semester as an undergraduate at ASU)
The forecast shows two more warm days, and then back to the usual crap.

But nice days are now extreme. If it weren’t Saturday the little kids would have school cancelled since it’s 85°F.
Once NOAA tampers with the data some it’s likely that Ft.Collins just may get their hottest 9/7 ever.
