Yeah, there’s been barely a mention here in Canada and when they did, the carbon tax aspect was mostly unsaid..

  2. Justa Joe says:

I’ve been looking, and it appears that the lame stream has imposed a complete news black-out on the goings on down under. It apparently doesn’t fit their “narrative.”

  3. TheJollyGreenMan says:

The best news out today is that the Climate Change Czar, whatever the tossers real title is not important, Tim Flanagan, has been fired. But, to get any Australian news about the flaying meted out to the Greenies and their pernicious Green Taxes you have to go to Australian websites like Jo Nova or Andrew Bolt.

  4. Colorado Wellington says:

It’s telling that an old 2012 news item about carbon tax being more popular than Abbott himself makes top of the search engines’ list for “Abbott carbon tax”.

But the blackout is not 100%. All-American news outfit Al Jazeera covers the story.

Proud to be an Aussie, proud to have worked on this election, proud to see Tim Flummery unemployed. It won’t take him long to pick up a plum posting at Greenpeace though.

  6. Sleepalot says:

Nothing at the UK BBC, either.

  7. ntesdorf says:

Down here in Australia the party and fireworks are still going on. People are celebrating the departure of Mr. Flim-Flam Flummery and his mates David Karoly anf Will Steffan. Australians are counting the amount of money that they are going to save by not paying for this compltete waste of space and time. You can join the festival at Andrew Bolt or Jo Nova’s Sites.
