Had it been anyone who had not served in the military, the story would not have seen the light of day. The folks in the UK have been brainwashed to think that only cops and military can prevent guns from running wild and shooting everything in sight. Guns have a strong desire to shoot for some reason.
Oddly enough, the US government doesn’t trust the military with guns and/or ammunition on their own military bases. Talk about setting-up free fire zones….
