It was a beautiful afternoon today, so I took the dogs out for their hike a little earlier than normal.
They pointed out to me that the reason why progressives don’t trust anyone else is because progressives don’t trust themselves.
So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Our progressive friends just can’t handle the idea that there are lots of good, honest people out there who actually have values which they live by.
