    Alarmist response will be:
    “Look at the volume, the volume, only the volume is important!!”
    They will completely forget that a 50% increase in area times average thickness means a 50% increase in volume. They must be all arts students cos they failed maths and science let alone physics!

    According to Professor Peter Wadhams there will be no ice in 2016.
