  1. Reblogged this on Ace News Services and commented:
#AceSecurityNews – Will need to check this out fully to make a further comment – will revisit!

  2. John B., M.D. says:

What are Hersh’s sources for his accusations?

  3. phodges says:

Rumor has it members of Seal Team 6 started asking around, “Were you on that raid?”

Members of the police and military need to ask themselves whether they work for America or those who rule America.

Here in the UK we had 13 years of the press and tv avoiding asking any difficult questions whatsoever of the Tony Blair / Gordon Brown socialist governments. By and large they would completely ignore even the most stupid and obvious lies with nearly all media sources happy to regurgitate the garbage they were spoon fed by government press release – perhaps the lowest point was Tony Blair’s now infamous “Dodgy Dossier” on Iraq that was patently a pack of lies.

Another trait of those years was the way in which even “serious” tv interviewers would softball government ministers and hardball opposition representatives during the same program. I’m sad to hear that where the UK lead the USA now follows !

The media in the western world is acting more and more like they did in Iraq with Saddam… (See CNN’s story from 2002 on how they did nothing but kiss up to Hussein to keep having access and to keep their reporters alive)…. It’s not quite as bad here yet, but close.

  5. The unfortunate thing here is the involvement of Seymour Hersh. He is, if anything, even less credible than President Obama — an astoundingly low level of credibility to reach.

The mere fact of Hersh taking this position (in the absense of firther investigation) suggests that the raid was real. Obama’s lack of involvement in the raid, and reported objections to it, also gives credence to its reality.

But we don’t know. The details would certainly be interesting.

    • “Obama’s lack of involvement in the raid and reported objections to it…” What? Obama took public credit for ordering the raid.

      • Yes, he and the news spun it that way. For that matter, Obama took credit today for the tremendous success of ObamaCare.

But internal reports — which still seem credible, and which Clinton lent more credence to just days ago — had this as Clinton and Panetta pushing for the Usama bin Ladin kill, Jarrett fiercely fighting it, and Obama sort of vaguely following Jarrett. This was reported way back when:

(“Level Head” is me; it’s just a re-arrangement of the letters in DeHavelle.)

  6. Sounds like paranoid nonsense.

    • D. Self says:

My 1st thought after this was reported was “who in the hell would load up a chinook with special forces in enemy territory?”.
