Zeke Is Right – In Australia

Maximum temperatures are on a long-term decline in Australia

But the absolute temperatures are increasing. This is because they have been progressively adding hotter stations to the thermometer record.

By contrast, anomalies vs. absolute temperatures look almost identical in the US – because we have a much more consistent set of long term stations.

So sensible Aussies stayed near the cool coast for a long time, whereas crazy Yanks immediately went looking for Gold in them thar hills?

Despite Urban Heat Island effects and migration to hotter locations, isn’t it strange that “corrections” to temperature readings have to be applied in order to validate the Global Warming computer models???

  3. Streetcred says:

The temperature record should be divided on the basis of each climatic zone … Australia is predominantly an empty desert and deserts get hot. The population lives around the narrow coastal perimeter so why contaminate the temperature record with more stations from the interior?

I’m glad you said “Zeke Is Right – In Australia”.

Had it been Zeke Is Right – For Australia – I would have to protest vigorously.

Perhaps Zeke and the Mosh pup are Right – For AustraliaAntarctica.

Since all these warmists are so convinced we are going to make the earth boil, perhaps we should set them up in a commune in Antarctica. We will donate Bill Clinton and Al Gore as Pres and VP to run the place. I am sure they could find a place for all the other note worthies. They can even host the new UN headquarters there.

Always finding new ways to increase the temperatures.

I do not see how the title to the second plot can be correct.
I.e. Cannot be the same 224 stations.
