Ground temperature is useless. There is no honesty or integrity in the data.

Regards from Chile. Paraguay is a perfect place to buy fake electronics, watches etc. Limited surprise that the Gavin gang did wash all the temperatures there. Typical for him, and no news in that country….

Many Brazilians trek hundreds of miles across the border for cheap goods. There is a 60% tariff on electronics in Brazil. At Foz de Iguacu you can get a cab across the Parana river to Ciudad del Este or for $2 ride pillion on a motor bike. The place is crowded with shops and market stalls. Walked over the border a few years ago. Many shops have security guards outside holding short-barrel shot guns. You can buy the cheapest Scotch Whisky in the World, or it might be pinga colored with tea.

Misinformation-by-design to fit UN Agenda 21 explains systematic, worldwide distortions in experimental measurements and observations.

Any reason why just the maximum temperatures are not used for homogenisation. They appear to vary much less than min.

    • KTM says:

Less variability means less room for error, which in real science would be a good thing. In fake pseudo-science it means less room for exaggeration and less scary headlines.

I believe even the rural sites are heavily populated. In third world countries there is rarely a true rural site. GISS considers a population of 200,000 as rural in under developed countries.
