They want all things to be CO2. Hot, cold, up, down, in and out. The magic mushroom is CO2. This is a sign of either senility or stupidity or both.
This is really all so very sad but the main thing is, more and more people are becoming rather freaked out by the lack of warm weather. This can’t be overcome with crazy stories about CO2. How a ‘green house gas’ can both make it warmer and colder at the same time is nakedly impossible.
And here I thought it was either Grant seeking FRAUD or pushing “The CAUSE***”

Polar amplification was due to the predicted affect of dryer areas warming more, due to the fact that the GHG CO2 did not have to compete as much with water vapor in those areas. When I read about this I never read about the cold moving south, just more humid areas being less affected by CO2 at the surface T. Everything was supposed to warm more with this well mixed gas.
Now I do notice a mre consistent arctic pattern of the summer T , if anything declining. but the winters being on the warm side. Des anyone know the seasonal humidity in the arctic, and OR the cloud cover flux? Comparing those verses the T anomaly may give some idea of what, if any affect additional CO2 has, as well as possibly giving insight into the affect of clouds. My initial guess is the summers may have more clouds.
Well the first thing you need to do is prove that CO2 at atmospheric pressures has measurable effects on anything other than plant growth. Since you can’t do that all the rest is kind of moot.
I get a kick out of the whole “Flat Earth” analogy. It was an early theory commonly accepted by the people of the time (6th century BC). When proven wrong by math and science virtually all cultures eventually accepted the new reality. Nobody in Europe really thought the earth was flat in the 1400s (maybe Bugs Bunny).
I think the “Flat Earthers” title applies more aptly to the warmist than the skeptic. Warmist invents a theory, skeptic shoots it down with science.
But then even the real Flat Earthers were up for a debate, the analogy falls apart there.
Want to hear a funny? How about there being less carbon dioxide over the polar regions than at the equator? Never mind that there is less ATMOSPHERE over the poles than over the equator–yet the lesser amount of carbon dioxide over the poles gives us a “polar warming” trend while the thicker atmospheres closer to the equator are experiencing colder temperatures?
That should keep climate “scientists” sputtering incoherently for a few days!
