The End Is Near

Over the past century, atmospheric CO2 has increased by about one part per ten thousand. This is equivalent to packing an extra ten people into the Rose Bowl. Climate experts like James Hansen believe this means doom for all humanity.

    Nice little alarmist scam.
How will anyone know when the end of the world comes if nobody will be left alive to tell/listen to the tale of our demise?

  2. philjourdan says:

Not so hot for the people in the Rose Bowl.

  3. emsnews says:

But what about the wind that hit the Rose Bowl tents today, sweeping them away???

END OF THE WORLD, I say! We are doomed! 🙂

Tornado incidence in the US 2014 is the exact opposite of what they predicted. Again!

Their answer would be to cancel the game, and triple the price of beer.

    • As a first step. Next come Nuremberg trials of the people who made the beer.

Colorado the raids and trials have already started:

OMG! Is this a resurrection of the 18th Amendment? Serves you right for buying Obamacare. Once the health police take control you will be “cared for” within an inch of your lives. You will never know what you are buying as the warnings on the package will leave no room for the contents. But rest assured, whatever it is will either give you Immortality or Cancer or, if your really unlucky, both.

        • Gail Combs says:

Diogenese2, it actually is that bad.

The FDA in court said we have “NO RIGHT” to our bodies and “NO RIGHT” to determine what foods we eat. They also make it clear that the only rights we have are tose given to us by Congress. They have the Constitution twisted Donkey hind end first.

Turkey also has heavy snow and cold. Roads have been closed since December 30th, and rescue operations are ongoing. The areas hit are: Bal?kesir, ?zmir, K?rklareli, Istanbul, Bursa and Manisa.

Greece is also seeing snow. Roads Closed in Greece Due to Heavy Snowfall

Icy weather and heavy snowfall has hit a large part of Greece, resulting in many roads closing in northern and central Greece, as well as near the capital…

The heaviest snowfall that has occurred in recent years has also resulted in many ski resorts being closed since there is no way to access them.

Motorists have been advised to avoid certain major roads on the Greek island of Euboea, as well as avoiding any type of travel in northern Greece.

The extreme weather conditions are expected to subside by Thursday.

Governments around the world are not doing enough to tackle the environmental dangers that threaten us, Sir David Attenborough has told Sky News.

The broadcaster and naturalist said those who wield power and authority are in denial about issues like climate change, despite overwhelming evidence of the scale of the problem.

He said: “Wherever you look there are huge risks. The awful thing is that people in authority and power deny that, when the evidence is overwhelming and they deny it because it’s easier to deny it – much easier to deny it’s a problem and say we don’t care.

“(In terms of climate change) we won’t do enough and no-one can do enough because it’s a very major serious problem facing humanity but at the same time it would be silly to minimise the size of the problem.

Absolutely he does. Then he can swoop right in and “fix that” too!

Is there a source where I can download an unadjusted global temperature dataset? Actual temperatures, not averages or anomalies, in an easy to use format. Preferably without any attempt to correct for sample density, time of day, or anything. land and ocean, something like:

    location, date, time, temp.

I’d like to try and replicate what I did with ocean pH data, instead using temp data. I’m encouraged that the gridded result was virtually identical to simply treating the raw data as a random sample. thanks in advance.

“Soros sold off nearly all of his bank stocks, including shares of JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs. Between the three banks, Soros sold more than a million shares. HMMMmmmm”

How much power is too much?

How much power does one man control, more importantly – should he be allowed to wield?

Finally, and has he got the President of the most powerful nation on earth – in his pocket?

Soros can’t spend it, all he can do, all he has left [apt word with Ge-ogre] is to manipulate and by God – George can manipulate for fun, one of Soros’s babies is the green agenda.

    • Jason Calley says:

As a loyal free-market supporter, I would say that Soros is welcome to all the power that he can HONESTLY and ETHICALLY accumulate. Unfortunately, the powers that be have not accumulated their power honestly. Instead they have bought special legislation and enforcement from the various governments, and thus used the power of aggressive violence to control the markets. Every time some billionaire or corporation uses their money to procure a semi-monopoly or coercive rules to advantage their companies over their competition, they step outside the free-market and become predatory.

Free market, YES! Markets based on buying legislation, NO! That is where the line must be drawn on how much power a person may have.
