Climate morons believe that glaciers calving are an indication of “climate change”
Glaciers are rivers of ice that flow towards the sea. Snow falls in the interior, and eventually finds its way to the ocean via gravity. All of the snow that falls, has to return to the sea. In the case of Greenland, that is 500 billion tons of ice per year.
Their logic is as intelligent as saying all the water flowing out the mouth of the Mississippi is an indication of drought. Complete imbeciles.
“A Glacier Runs Through It” starring climate scientist Robert Redford
Yes we know the “Electric Horseman” and his co-star are both climate experts who’s opinions on things we should take as the gospel.

I still ain’t fonda Jane.
Never have been. My spit shinned Jump boots would quick time march all over her and then continue to Rear March until I got tired!
I mistakenly named one of my ponies Jane and I am not fond of her either. Too bad I couldn’t use the method I used on Janey when halter breaking her on Jane F……
Have you ever seen a pony do a front flip?
She was good in Barbarella ! 😉
Downhill from there !
One of the very few people my father hated. Dad had close friends who suffered horribly due to Hanoi Jane’s antics.
Gail, didn’t you avatar used to be blue ?
Possibly. I just shutdown the computer and switched from Firefox to Opera when I rebooted. So that maybe the reason
Usually they are linked to the email address you use.
A typo in the email addy can change the avatar.
I liked some of his movies,
but seriously.. WTF has movies got to do with climate change.
The fact that they keep trotting out “faces” shows that they have NOTHING ELSE.
Anyone who gets their information from Hollywood actors is a real Dunderhead.
(And no I am not fond of Ronald Reagan either.)
RAH,
This video is for you,

Thanks Gail. Booth did more to hurt the South during reconstruction than all the Carpet Baggers combined. Only Lincoln had the will and the political power to keep the long knives in the North in their sheaths.
Here is another one from The Daily Sheeple: 7 Things You Didn’t Know About the Civil War
Both are from Hubby. His Dad was a Civil War buff. I very much regret we never took the time to interview our neighbors with a tape recorder when we first moved south. They were authorities on the local Civil War history.
Part of my family history.
Lewis Powell was one of my ancestors, and it was because of my childhood curiousity about a grandfather I never knew, and a father my father never knew, that we discoverd this dark part of our family’s past. My grandfather passed from injuries sustained from a plane crash 4 months before my father was born. Grandma had packed all her late husbands personal items into old steamer trunks and tucked them away in her attic before dad was old enough to know she had done so. On a visit to dad’s childhood home I asked permission to poke about, as I was bored, and found those trunks. I immedeiately went and asked if it would be OK to explore the contents, and was given a reluctant thumbs up.
Granddad had been a Navy man, and a pioneering radio operator and designer in his short time on Earth. I found his old flight suits, service revolver, and journals in which he had designed more efficient radios for the Navy, and later Pan Am. Then I found a very old photo of four people hanging from a gallows.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/29/Execution_Lincoln_assassins.jpg
It wasn’t this photo, but was a much more up close shot that my mother has preserved. To say the least, for a 12 year old boy, it was rather intriguing and quite a mystery. I took it to my father, and it took him nearly 3 days to get his mother to tell him the story of our long lost cousin Lewis Powell. The family refused the body, and it was buried without ceremony, and as far as I know his body is still missing. But his skull was kept…
For nearly 100 years, the skull of Lewis Thornton Powell rested in an attic storage bin at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History. Soon, it may be buried next to the Geneva grave of his mother.

Eventually his skull was laid to rest by his mother’s grave…

Powell’s job that fateful night was to assassinate the Secretary of State, Willaim Seward. Seward survived the kinife attack, but bore the scar for the rest of his life.

Not all our ancestors are heroes. But it is wrong to deny our history, we must own up to it and never forget, lest we repeat the same mistakes.
http://www.dmarlin.com/pastprologue/blog/lewis-powell-skull/index.html
BTW the one hanging on the left end as we see it is Mary Surratt. First and last women to be publicly hanged by the US Government.
This is what that exact location looks like today: http://rogerjnorton.com/tennisc1.jpg
For a nation to become divided, and fall into a civil war, is a terrible nightmare. The entire USA was as scarred as Seward’s face. There is not a town in the east, both north and south, that doesn’t have a old monument to the sons they lost. 620,000 died in that war alone. If you add up all the the other wars put together you get 644,000. We now cannot even imagine the anguish of that national crisis.
Even before the war started the level of anger was scary. In the south the post offices refused to deliver northern Newspapers, because the opinions were not acceptable. (Skeptics see a similar phenomenon today, when Alarmists refuse to even hear.)
I pray we are not on the verge of a second Civil War. However if you want to avoid a repeat of History, study it. Start with the Lincoln-Douglas debates, and the society they were conducted within. Both sides seem slightly insane. However we may look the same, to our great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Caleb, imagine the horrors of Gettysburg where we lost almost as many young men in three days as we did in the entire 10 plus years of Vietnam.
If we would have the grave misfortune to fall into another civil war, I don’t understand how anyone would know who they were to fight, or what the strategy would be. We would indeed be brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor, and strife would be rampant within every single state and locality I don’t think we can even imagine how anyone could win a conflict such as that.
I am a history buff and have visited several of the sites of the Lincoln-Doglas debates and witnessed reinactments. That is really just the tip of the iceberg as far as the slavery issue was concerned, the political theater of the day. There is so very much that Northerners will never know about the truth of slavery, because it has been erased from our history books.
One of the most hoffific stories of slavery is a place called “The Old Slave House” near Shawneetown Illinois, where a “stud” slave named Uncle Bob reportedly sired hundreds of children in what was called the “breeding room”. The owner of the house made part of his living capturing escaped slaves and returning them to servitude, and selling pregnant slaves who brought higher prices at auction. The house was slated for demolition 20 years ago because it offended people, but wiser heads prevailed and it is being researched and readied for an eventual reopening, now under the care of the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency. I was fortunate enough to visit it before it was closed to the public, it is a unique site both architecturally and historically.

Then there is the Kingsley Plantation in North Florida, where the owner treated his slaves in the custom of a chiefton in an African village. The “slave quarters” were arranged in a semicircle near the main house, and slaves had daily tasks much like we do today. When the work was completed, the slaves were free to pursue their own devices. Kingsley and his slaves were so close that when indians raided the plantation, it was the slaves who convinced the indians not to destroy Kingsley’s home, and the slaves remained until Kingsley and his family returned. Kingsley’s slaveswere even permitted to own firearms.

Slavery has a long history that is not all evil. In Biblical times men often sold themselves into slavery in order to provide for their families, as not all men had the capacity to do so on their own. Not much different than working in the corporate world today.
Thank you, Tony aka Steven, for the reminders that postmodern science is a tool of government propaganda. The extent of deception is almost beyond comprehension!
The 2009 Climategate emails and official responses have revealed an evil and corroding pattern of deception in many, if not all, federal research programs.
For every Climate Moron on Earth today, there is an equally talented:
Cosmology Moron
Astrophysics Moron
Solar Physicist Moron
Nuclear Physicist Moron
but behind all the false facade of “settled science,” REAL SCIENCE is completely compatible with ancient spiritual insights from various RELIGIONS!
For the above reason, I suspect a merger of physical sciences with spirituality will be the solution to the current state of social insanity on planet Earth.
I.e., in 1543 Copernicus reported scientific evidence of the FOUNTAIN OF ENERGY that MADE and SUSTAINS every atom, life and planet in the Solar System!
The Pope felt science was intruding on religious doctrine and objected when Galileo later tried to promote the Copernican model of the Solar System.
Experimentation, observation and contemplation thus led scientists to the same truths that spiritual leaders of diverse religions had earlier realized through meditation and prayer.
The path to SCIENTIFIC INTEGRITY and SOCIAL SANITY is ACCEPTANCE OF REALITY:
Experimentation, observation and contemplation by scientists leads to the same reality, truth, God that religious leaders reach by meditation and prayer.

World leaders, the current Pope and the current President of the US National Academy of Sciences are all opposed to this REALITY: The FOUNTAIN OF ENERGY Copernicus reported at the gravitational center of the Solar System in 1543 controls the climate of every planet in the Solar System!
Pompous Popes and Arrogant Presidents deny REALITY, GOD, TRUTH.
I listened to someone referred to as an “expert” so I believe everything they said.. That about sum it up? Critical thinking skills are rapidly disappearing from the human race.
Let’s see what is responsible for the heat in Europe. What will happen in the winter?

The UN is running out of experts, but has plenty of morons left…
Fifteen-year-old indigenous climate activist Xiuhtezcatl Roske-Martinez and actor and environmental advocate Robert Redford addressed the United Nations yesterday to encourage global action on climate change.

I wouldn’t trust a 15 year old with my lawnmower, much less my planet.
A child and a washed up, elderly actor. Now there are tow fine examples of experts at the top of climate science today!
Reblogged this on Climatism.
If glaciers didn’t calve, they’d cover the planet with solid ice. We could call it an Ice Age!
Speaking of morons…
Happy Whatever Day!
