Tea in Angelika and Lorne’s garden with James, Angelika, Camilla and Roger. As always perfect weather and perfect conversation in England.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Enjoy! Are there no climatologists lurking in the shadows?
Our national public radio (NPR), like BBC, pretends concern over the public’s lack of faith in government science and asks, “Should we trust science?”
http://www.npr.org/sections/13.7/2015/06/12/413607947/should-we-trust-science
Although I was at UC-Berkeley myself as graduate student and postdoc in physics in 1962-1964, the NPR moderator promptly deleted my attempt to answer the question.
Once again, “Should we trust science?” Scientists are as trustworthy as NPS and BBC!
It’s been bloody freezing in mine!
Today was about the first decent day we’ve had this year.
Completely off subject,
Check out what Roy Spencer has to say about a Greenpeace team interviewing and secretly
taping and recording everything in the interview.
Of course, now we could check out how they might splice and change the entire conversation.
Greenpeace once was an honorable organization, and so were governmental organizations like the EPA, and so many others. But as the saying goes power corrupts and…you know the rest.
I love how James Delingpole refers to wind turbines as bat chomping bird slicing eco crucifixes.
He won’t be getting much sympathy from Roger Helmer…
In 2006, Helmer commented that beating “dumb” seal cubs on the head was a “humane” way of killing them, and he told a 17-year-old animal rights campaigner to “save your concerns for people rather than them.” In a bizarre accusation, he also condemned seals as “guilty” of eating too much fish.
He wrote to A-level student Madeleine Harrold:
I think it’s mawkish, sentimental and unhelpful to adopt a Bambi attitude to animals. Your sympathy for dumb animals does you credit but save your concerns for people rather than them.
Congratulations on spectacularly missing the point.
The point being what ? That sometimes the weather is perfect in England ?
That some English people can get together without rioting because presumably they do not support West Ham ?
That the roses bloomed well and do not appear to be suffering from black spot ?
…or that Helmer is the only one ‘manspreading’ ?
….or is it something to do with politics ?
You tell me….
The roses could do with dead-heading, the guy on the left is playing with his keys, probably nervous or uncomfortable, the paving needs weeding out but worst of all, that garden furniture has had no maintenance for years, a bit of teak oil will do it the world of good.
But look inside that back room, is it the kitchen ? (judging by the tiled back panel) what a tip !
It’s good of them to share the very obvious security vulnerabilities of the back door with all of the world, don’t you think ?
Chris Barron apparently wants to be Anthony Melchiorri

I would need to lose a little more hair but ….
….and I still haven’t been enlightened so just enjoy it while it lasts 😉
The “James” is James Delingpole. The “Roger” would be Roger Helmer of UKIP fame.
I don’t recognise the ladies, so who are Camilla and Anjelika?
Did “Lorne” take the photo or was Tony personally present and took this photo??
The photo raises more questions than answers.
I am delighted Tony has transatlantic communications skills. We will also need transpacific communications skills to unite all those whose lives have been damaged by the 24 OCT 1945 decision to unite nations (UN) into a totalitarian ruler of the world and national academies of science (NAS) into a worldwide “Orwellian Ministry of Consensus Science Truths.”
Democracy requires that the public have access to reliable information.
Trans-pacific information from Japan’s unreported atomic bomb project was instrumental to my understanding of the Sun’s origin, composition and source of energy.
All Earth’s inhabitants have a vital interest in reliable information on the fountain of energy that Copernicus reported at the center of the solar system in 1543: The SUN.
Democratic governments that purposely deceive the public are self-destructive.
Although world leaders stoke the fires of religious and national intolerance, and send “the flower of our youth” off to kill each other over supposedly international conflicts, there is international unanimity of opinion in support of these same scientific falsehoods:
1. AGW – Anthropogenic global warming
2. SNM – Standard nuclear model
3. SSM – Standard solar model
4. BBC – Big Bang cosmology
I.e., behind the scenes world leaders are working together to deceive and enslave the public while pretending to be leaders of independent national groups.
IF my analysis of post WWII events is correct, the
1. US National Academy of Sciences betrayed the trust of the American public,
2. UK Royal Society betrayed the trust of the British people, and
3. Likewise around the globe because scientists in every nation believed they were saving the world from annihilation.
Is the UKIP man the one in a suit and tie in this perfect weather ?
The Welsh Guards are putting on a special parade in honour of your visit.
Missed hearing you at the 10th ICCC (Fresh Start in D.C.) . ( I wish I were totally convinced we were at a turning point with all the issues.) Anyway, all the presenters were excellent, and it was a totally educational/inspirational 2 days. Lord Monckton exceeded his previous amazing presentation last year by giving us a third act after two panels this time. I hope you were watching when he filled in for Ted Cruz at lunch. We all had a laughing good time.
I wish I were in England. I like the theatre in London and the international Gilbert and Sullivan festival which I have attended twice in Buxton. The weather never failed me when I was there either, but I don’t think I ever want to do the winters!
Be safe.
At least we don’t get much of the ice and snow that so many of the Americans and Canadians get 🙂
Is there not like ‘The Al Gore Effect’ The Tony Heller Effect’ ? Do the people you visit know about that ?
