The northeast US is having their third coldest year on record, and coldest since 1917. This region includes climate dimwits Sheldon Whitehouse and Barack Obama – who believe they are overheating.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Until this week, I was still sleeping under the Winter Quilt here in Southern Maine!
Delightful!!!
The Jet Stream has finally made it into Southern Canada, so I suspect we’ll warm up a bit!!!
Anchored in Mt St Michele France tonight …. **** the Climate Change Liars.. were there evidence of Sea Level Rise.. we’d see it right here… but al-ass… there IS NONE!!
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mont_Saint-Michel
I’m jealous! Mt St Michel is one of my favorite places on Earth. Beware the massive sea level rise (and fall). 😉

isn’t there evidence of sea level fall?
my understanding is that the coast of France was some 4.5 kilometers farther away in the High Middle Ages
Why would they build a fortress on an island that their enemies could walk to at low tide?
wouldn’t higher sea levels during MWP be part of the explanation?
The tides made any prolonged assault impossible. Ships could not stay and attack, and neither could armies. The sands at low tide are also full of quicksand-like areas. Mt St Michel was easily defended, and once fortifications were built, it was never captured.
Then again, Alexander never besieged it.
It was just an island back then, and the service was terrible. No Wi-Fi.

“It’s always exciting when you see snow falling to low levels, especially in Wellington suburbs because it doesn’t happen very often,” says Daniel Talbot of the Wellington Severe Weather Reports Facebook page.
Today’s dump was just a sprinkling compared to the 2011 polar blast, but still had social media flooded with pictures and excitement.

“Hence, the oscillations of the SBMF will continue to decrease
in the next two cycles with a decrease in the amplitude of
the summary component for cycle 26 by a factor of four
compared to the PC in cycle 21 or by factor of two for cycle 23.
Furthermore, the two PCs in cycles 25 and 26 are found to have
a large phase shift of about half of the period (10 yr) having
opposite signs of the PCs in the periods of the expected solar
activity maxima when these waves are expected to interfere with
each other in the same hemisphere and to create visible solar
activity on its surface in the form of magnetic flux tubes seen
as sunspots.
In other words, the PC waves detected in SBMF are predicted
to travel with increasing phase shifts approaching nearly an antiphase
in the next two cycles when the red wave is only present
in the northern (cycle 25) and southern (cycle 26) hemispheres
while the blue wave travels in the southern (cycle 25) and the
northern (cycle 26) hemispheres. This can result in the absence
of many of the visible signs of SBMF variations listed at the start
of the Section 2.3 (Zharkova et al. 2012) and thus, in the lack of
solar activity in general in the classic sense of sunspot appearances.

Sorry, let’s try that second link again.

Very cool here on my mountain. Lots and lots of rain. Most of the storms look like winter storms, not summer thunder storms.
I am very sharply reminded of the 1970’s this last 2 years. Same transition weather including long drought stretches which end with long rain and gloom cycles.
And a Carteresque Presidency for good measure.
Go get them. Ice age on the way! Big Chill 2020 for good seeing people!
