Bernt Balchen (23 October 1899 – 17 October 1973) was a pioneer polar aviator, navigator, aircraft mechanical engineer and military leader. A Norwegian native, he later became a U.S. citizen, and was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross. His service in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II made use of his Arctic exploration expertise to help the Allies over Scandinavia and Northern Europe. After the war, Balchen continued to be an influential leader with the U.S. Air Force, as well as a highly regarded private consultant in projects involving the Arctic and aviation.

Meanwhile . . . in the Antarctic, expanding ice and an iceberg has led to the deaths of 150,000 penguins, nearly wiping out a penguin colony. Expanding ice is a severe threat to penguins since they must travel over ice from their nesting areas to the ocean to obtain food.
Ann… the numbers and the situation is mostly Alarmist hype… Adelie Penguins at one location, have been landlocked due to “too much Ice”. ( CNN had earlier Reported ), “However” ; Adelie Penguins are thriving in another Colony just five miles away.??
Had they not considered; they’re likely the one’s that were landlocked,( not dead ).!

Scientists now admit they got it so wrong in counting Penguins. They discovered there is in fact : “twice as many Emperor Penguins than what alarmists previously thought” (all contrary to Global Warming Propaganda – just like the Polar Bear of the North).

Outdoor air pollution kills more than 3 million people across the world every year, and causes health problems from asthma to heart disease for many more. This is costing societies very large amounts in terms of the value of lives lost and ill health.
Gee Jim, that’s almost half as many that die from your team’s efforts. And I wonder how many of those 3 million would die of exposure and starvation first, if it were not for the life giving services provided by those evil polluters who heat their homes and feed them. At least the polluters provide something of real value, your team just kills for ideology.
