Arctic Fake News Update

As recently as 20 minutes ago, fake news stories continue to appear that the Arctic is hot and sea ice is at a record low.

Actual data shows that Arctic temperatures are far below normal, sea ice is normal, and extent is about 800,000 km² higher than last year.

UAH has Arctic “nopol” as 17th warmest in 39 year.

RSS has Arctic “60-82.5” in 16th position.

The “2nd warmest” statement is a MANIFEST LIE.

  2. AndyG55 says:

Both MASIE and NSIDC have May so far as the SLOWEST MELT in over 10 year

  3. AndyG55 says:

MASIE has Arctic sea ice extent ABOVE that of:

    2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2016

NSIDC has sea ice extent above that of 204, 2006, 2015 and 2016

    Arctic ice is so 90ies
and has been proven by thousands of scientists and hundreds of their climate models that it no longer exists.

The only reason it seems to exist is pretty simple:
Global Sea Level Rise has been so strong that the sea level skyrocketed and is now much closer to the satellites and their cameras.
The shorter the distance between a cam and the object, the bigger the object will be on the photo.
That’s why a last and very small ice floe in the arctic can appear to be so huge and make people think that the arctic is covered with ice.
(global sea level rise deniers will deny this of course)

How dare you read charts for yourself! Only Nobel Prize winners like Al Gore and Michael Mann are truly qualified to read a chart, not science deniers!

  6. AndyG55 says:

    Day 141.

    MASIE extent now above 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016
Slowest “melt from maximum” for last 18 days.

    NSIDC extent now above 2004, 2006, 2011, 2015, 2016
Slowest melt from maximum for last 17 days.

  7. Bent-feather ? says:

Did you see the findings on the volcanic activity under the Arctic?
Maybe that’s what’s causing all the ice melting of late.
That is something to look into. A volcano was sitting under that hole in the ice.
    Now we have the story!!
That’s all from me. So long.

Checkpoint Titovka in Pechenga, Murmansk Region, 9 May 2017.

It’s hot in the Arctic and climate scientists know that anthropogenic heat causes either less or more snowfall. Neither is good.

According to Russian specialists, with increased snow cover foxes have trouble finding food so they approach garbage dumps and people. The Ministry of Nature recommends that residents of the Arctic do not feed fox beggars on the roads of the region and near gas stations.

Fox Snezhana in the picture comes to the checkpoint Titovka regularly and is known to the officials. The travelers routinely practice civil disobedience and disregard the Ministry of Nature instructions. This time Snezhana was treated to oriental sweets. She may also get shish kebab leftovers when the people return from town.

This is not good and we must combat global warming or the foxes of the Russian Far North will die of obesity and high blood pressure.

    • Colorado Wellington says:

And how hot is it in May in the Murmansk Region? Below is a picture from the “Big Wood” ski resort in Kirovsk.

      An observer saw

“a practically naked guy and a girl who went down not once but twice. It was a pity to look at them, but they held on well, though they trembled. Especially the guy who had only underpants, boots and an iPhone.”

That’s how hot it is there.
