    Second photo is upright.

    • Colorado Wellington says:

Jim’s got it right, Tommy. At the foot of the rising hill on the left in the first picture, there are buildings that don’t show in the reflection because they are too low above the water.

    • AndyG55 says:

I disagree. That house type structure about 40% of the way across in the first picture, cannot exist under water.

  2. GeologyJim says:

No. 2 is both upside-down and reversed left-right, IMHO

    Happy Birthday, Tony

    Welcome to the 60s!

  3. Colorado Wellington says:

Great shot, Tony. No wind in the morning.

    • tonyheller says:

Boulder wants to go 100% wind and solar. That should work out well.

      • Colorado Wellington says:

It will be alright with the Steiner plan.

      • arn says:

        Wait.
These idiots want to built more building and increase the population(i’m talking about the natural area they want to destroy)
        +going 100% wind+Solar??

This will be a rude awakening when you increase your population while reducing the available energy 70%(and the 70% is a pretty realistic number.
Considering the weather there solar would be barely more than a joke and when you can make such fotos often than wind wouldn’t be much better.
I live close to a like and we have tons of windmills, but
you”ll almost never be able to make such fotos as the water is always troubled because theres lot of wind.

A question climate experts simply cannot answer, even with multi-billion dollar computers.

  6. Richard Keen says:

And as for the second question,
    Which season is it?
It doesn’t matter (i.e., “what difference does it make?”).
As has been said about Colorado, there’s only two seasons – summer and winter – and either can happen any time of year.

  7. Advocatus Diaboli says:

Just came across this (thanks, Drudge): http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/05/22/europe-birthplace-mankind-not-africa-scientists-find/

“An international team of researchers say the findings entirely change the beginning of human history and place the last common ancestor of both chimpanzees and humans – the so-called Missing Link – in the Mediterranean region.
“At that time ***climate change had turned Eastern Europe into an open savannah*** which forced apes to find new food sources, sparking a shift towards bipedalism, the researchers believe.”
Whoda known that the internal combustion engine already existed 7.2 million years ago?

  8. Joe says:

2nd photo is upside down. And in the third photo it’s a new type of season: Sprinter.

  9. Steve Keohane says:

    The season is Spring Skiing!
