    I’m saying this for years.
As soon as a non-lysenkoist channel reach a certain size
the number of subscribers starts to stagnate
just as the number of views
while the comment:view ratio gets absurdly high.1:20 and even smaller.
Data adjustment is not climate science monopol.
It is the first commandement of big brother.

And btw-it’s a stealthy way of demonetisation as they only share the money for the official viewcount

I hate to sound like a television show but, we need a new internet. One that is open and hosted by we the people.

I already can’t post anything myself to YouTube channels. I have to reply to other people’s comments instead. So, these things don’t surprise me at all.

  4. Class action if you can prove it. Your compensation is based on metrics maintained solely by Google. Consequently, the quality of these metrics needs to be nearly absolute. By the same token, The Google has a huge incentive to rip you off if they can get away with it. If you can find a few more users that are showing this activity and can somehow log it, there is probably a huge law firm that would love to take that case pro-bono.

At least with Twitter, there is no compensation, correct? But we already knew they were scumbags.

      Tony,

There’s not much you can do about the folks who view your videos directly from YouTube, but you could modify your html to keep track of how many unique views occur (as defined by the requesting IP address). Doing so would give you some hard evidence of Google’s behavior.

I think the number of views is unreliable in the beginning. It’s a known “feature”, not necessarily evil intent.

What do you meam now? The bastards have been doing it for ages.

I noticed that the “Watts Up With That” site is being, “deplatformed”.

The Alarmists are becoming increasing blatant in their efforts to silence differing views. I actually find such sleaze refreshing, because it is as close as they ever get to honesty. They used to put on a mask of being open-minded, and hide the fact they marginalized people like Dr. Bill Gray.

I was a little worried about the WUWT archives being “disappeared”, so I went to retrieve some old articles I wrote that were published nearly a decade ago. One has stood the tests of time fairly well, concerning the fact a big hurricane is overdue on the east coast, and will have nothing to do with Global Warming when it occurs. I republished it on my site, also noting how much freer discussion was eight years ago.

The hurricane Alarmists may face may well be a gradually growing storm of public revulsion and outrage.

On a somewhat related topic I decided to check in to see what Tucker Carlson is saying these days. You Tube just offers up a heap of rubbish links to CNN and others attacks on him. No actual direct links.

Duck Duck Go on the other hand has a heap of links to his actual shows.

Google Twitter and co are completely out of hand and now don’t even try to hide their unbalanced nature.

If this were conservatives doing this then the coverage by the corrupt media would drown out the spew of covid reporting….

Everyday its getting closer to the stories that a work colleague who grew up in the Soviet Union, keeps telling me.
