New Video : You Can’t Fool Mother Nature

The burning of fossil fuels accomplishes equally as beneficial environmental results, as well as powers our world.
Yes, and it can be successfully argued that some aspects of nature would have led to the extinction of all life on planet earth, because of depletion of life giving CO2 over the past 150 million years.
Plants die when CO2 levels drop below 150 ppm. In the height of the last ice age (about 18,000 years ago) CO2 fell to a dangerous 180 ppm.
Life exploded way back when CO2 was 5,000-7,000 ppm. (some 570 million years ago)
CO2 has been steadily decreasing in the atmosphere due to ocean plants and animals making hard shells with CO2 and Calcium, and they then die and sink and form carbonaceous rocks. (limestone, chalk, marble, etc.)
Mankind has been restoring some of this “lost” CO2 with fossil fuel burning and by burning limestone to make cement.
So aside from other pollutants by burning fossil fuels – which are properly mitigated with modern engineering – release of CO2 from burning fossil fuels is helping “mother nature” to stave off self extinction!
See Patrick Moore’s presentation on this subject here:

“Patrick Moore – Should We Celebrate Carbon Dioxide?”
As Tony points out about nonsense reporting about forest fires being apocalyptic, so too is the sky is falling crowd blaming CO2 for climate change. Not only is it false, but in fact with our restoring some CO2 to the atmosphere, we are in fact making the planet’s ecosystem more viable.
No argument here.
Thx for the link.
I live in Florida. I’ve noticed in my travels around the state that hurricanes knock down lots and lots of trees. Is this the same process since lack of rain isn’t a big issue here?
In Australian many Eucalypts seeds need fire. But green opposition to regular burning has created huge fierce fires.
