Worldwide Drought Of 1963

This week in 1963, JFK was assassinated while riding in an open convertible. That was the warmest autumn on record in the US, and since then autumn temperatures have plummeted.

    In the UK, 1963 is remembered for it’s particularly brutal winter. Unusually low temperatures persisted across the whole country, with large drops of snow. Rivers, canals, lakes and even the sea froze
