On May 22, 2008 Windsor, Colorado was largely destroyed by a 3/4 mile wide tornado with 160MPH winds. I was working a few miles away and got a first hand look at the damage shortly after the tornado passed.
I had my birthday dinner in Windsor a few days earlier, and once again this week – fifteen birthdays later.
