NOAA showed record heat in the Congo during August 2023 – but they didn’t have any thermometer data.
This claimed data is completely fake. It doesn’t exist.

Here is all the daily temperature data NOAA has for Congo Brazzaville
The data for Congo Kinshasha is even worse
It’s not only an Africa. Get your own mercury thermometer and read it in the morning. I do this every day. My mercury thermometer is always 8° to 10° colder than my phone shows. I know there’s no temperature station anywhere near me in my small rural county in Central Virginia. I don’t expect there to be. But I do expect the algorithm to guess at the temperature here to be closer to reality. And the guess is always higher.
Here in my Rural KY county we have one station located in a flat open area. My house is on a ridge above a valley (85′) higher. When my temp is say -24°F in the valley it is at least 5°F colder ..MINIMUM! And yes that temp is real…1993 Ice Storm!
