When you look at the big chart, it looks like we are at a maximum on the cycle. When you look at the little insert, it looks like we have run up against a vertical asymptote. Also, the insert tells us that the Little Ice Age and the Medieval Warm Period were exactly the same, zero temperature anomaly.
