Fifty years ago today, the lead story in the New York Times was people lined up for hours to purchase gasoline.

At least the lead acid technology didn’t burst into flame.
HA!!
Thousands of Hollywood movies(and especially Top Secret/1983) are prove that your statement is wrong.
I have no concern that the lead acid battery in my car will spontaneously catch fire. I cannot say the same about Lithium or sodium sulphur (which was tried and abandoned precisely because of the fire hazard). Obviously any faulty electric wiring, no matter how it is powered can create a fire, but that is not inherent in the source.
Well, I never knew the reason why US cars in Hollywood movies always catch fire , but it was always cars with combustion engines that explode snd burn , never electric ones.
(I have a lot work to do with my sarcasm skills, it seems)
Thanks Tony.
A great video.
I can’t wait to pass it along to my son and grandson who are Tesla lovers.
