I’m a midnight toker”
Steve Miller has cancelled his tour because the threat of extreme weather.

Woodstock was held in 1969 during Hurricane Camille, which had winds close to 200 MPH. There was also a global pandemic with a higher death rate than COVID.
The joke is on him.
Always disappointed when a celebrity I’ve liked turns out to be some sort of brain dead liberal or becomes woke.
Say It isn’t So Steve Miller!!! He should come to Central Minnesota, we can’t even break 83 in the next 10 days and the crops have never looked better at this time of year. fyi I’m going to an outdoor concert tonight at 7 pm in Sauk Rapids Minnesota, (unless it’s canceled at the last minute due to climate change lol). I’ll be wearing pants, not shorts, it’s going to be in the 60s.
Climate change is a lame excuse for poor ticket sales.
For a band that originates in San Francisco heat and forest fires are for sure a new and threatening thing.
But maybe the expected attendence was that of a Biden 2020 campaign
and floods and forest fires(how do these 2 go together? ) and heat are codewords for arthritis, dementia and incontince.
Only young Punks can poop their pants on stage and get away with pretending It’s cool.
The most interesting part is that a Tour usually happens in several different places.
While I do not doubt the weather prediction skills of softrockbands weeks and months ahead,
I can not understand why they didn’t just skip those places that will be affected by floods, heat and fires and play only in safe cities?
Or how about delaying the tour for a few month?
Fires and heatwaves are rare in November and December.
4 years ago during peak covid they didn’t had so much fear when they played at a concert.
