Steve, are you comparing a densely developed downtown location (1828) to a relatively rural airport location in 2010? We need not stoop to the level of our opposition if that is the case.
Especially with all that central heating and air conditioners. Cars, Buses, High rise buildings and all that.
I forgot about the horses farting.
What about all the Ben Franklin stoves that were popular back then? And the big horseless carriage factories?
A modern day rural airport probably produces as much waste heat as an urban location in the 1880s. That still leaves the quality of the equipment.
